Norwich vs. Manchester City

Our tip: Manchester City to win ($1.61 with Sportsbet.com.au)

Norwich are entangled in a battle at the bottom of the table for Premier League survival while Manchester City’s slim title hopes still remain alive.

Manchester City still remain in the Champion’s League and may be focused on that rather than chasing the Premier League title while Norwich can still play top flight football if they get their act together in the latter stages of the season.

If only it were that simple for Norwich.

The Canaries are the worst performed team in the league over the last six weeks (yes that includes Aston Villa) and have not won in the Premier League since January the 2nd.

Norwich are also winless from the last four home games.

Manchester City’s away form in the league has been good without being spectacular.

Their last outing was a loss to Liverpool at Anfield, but before that they had taken seven from a possible nine points in away fixtures over the last month.

City’s form has been scratchy over the last month but Norwich have not represented anything close to a challenge to any side in the league this year and should be easy fodder for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.

Bournemouth vs. Swansea

Our tip: Double chance – Swansea win and draw ($1.83 with Sportsbet.com.au)

Just two points separate Bournemouth and Swansea on the Premier League table, and with both sides still not assured of top flight football next season this is certain to be a fierce battle.

Bournemouth’s title as an English Premier League team was in jeopardy only a month ago, but after a terrific three week stretch – which saw the South Coasters take seven points from a possible nine – the dream of retaining their top flight status is no longer a fanciful delusion.

Swansea’s recent form has saved them from entering a bitter relegation battle at the bottom of the table.

A sensational away win at Arsenal, followed by a terrific home win against bottom-three side Norwich has elevated the Welshmen nine points ahead of the 18th placed Canaries.

Both teams take wonderful form into the match and will be confident of making it three wins on the trot.

Swansea’s away form in the last six weeks has been good with the only losses coming to Manchester United at Old Trafford and Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

The likely outcome here is a draw, but with Swansea going into the match as heavy underdogs we are taking the safe option – the value of the Swansea and draw double chance is too good to ignore.

Aston Villa vs. Tottenham

Our tip: Tottenham to win ($1.50 with Sportsbet.com.au)

With Aston Villa’s relegation all but assured and Tottenham’s title chances still in their own hands this match up seems like a foregone conclusion.

Spurs’ form has been erratic since the battle for top spot has intensified.

Tottenham failed to secure all three points against an injury ravaged Arsenal team last week even after Gunners’ defender Francis Coquelin was sent off for a rash challenge in the first half.

They are now winless from their last two Premier League outings but are only five points behind league leaders Leicester with plenty of time to make up ground.

Despite their indifferent form, an away trip to Villa Park may be just the tonic the Spurs need to get their title hopes back on track.

Aston Villa are anchored to the bottom of the table; nine points adrift of 17th placed Sunderland.

It would take a miracle for the Villains to survive this season – a fact acknowledged by Sportsbet who have suspended relegation betting markets on Aston Villa.

Tottenham to beat Villa is the safest bet of the multi.

Leicester vs. Newcastle

Our tip: Leicester to win ($1.61 with Sportsbet.com.au)

Can the Leicester juggernaut roll on for another week or do Newcastle United have a monumental upset in them?

The League leading Foxes are five points clear at the top of the table while the Magpies are towards the bottom with an incredibly hard battle ahead of them just to remain in the top flight of English football.

Last time the two teams met the Foxes found the back of the net three times at St James’ Park, with the league’s top scorer Jamie Vardy causing all kinds of headaches for the home side.

This time the venue is King Power Stadium where Leicester are unbeaten in their last ten games.

Newcastle away from home have been diabolical.

Steve McClaren’s men have taken just three points from their last eight games and have been kept scoreless on five of those occasions.

You can never write anything off in the Premier League but it is almost impossible to see how Newcastle can score away from home let alone get the win.

Leicester to win is a sound bet and one of the more likely outcomes of Gameweek 30.
